While the Ultra is close to ¾ oz, the Smatra (Small + Ultra) weighs ½ oz. It is a compact and easy to use bite-size vibration bait, perfect for slicing any promising area as a search bait. In addition, due to the low position fixed balancer, the Smatra can be retrieved at varying speeds.

The flat forehead which acts as a lip, was necessary to give that vibration to a vibration bait up until now. No longer. VIBRATION-X ULTRA's vibration is based on the principle of balance, nothing to do with the shape of the forehead. We used this new approach for the first time in our LIP-LESS BAIT. Try slow-rolling it just above any weed bed which is usually beaten by spinnerbait. You will soon find out that no spinnerbait can match ULTRA's super-realistic presence.

The third version of the original Vibration-X, ‘BAF’ stands for ‘Brass Appeal Floating.’ As its name implies, the BAF is a floater with brass shots. Megabass offered this bait briefly about 15 years ago. At that time all other vibration baits were the sinking type with rattles inside, whereas Megabass offered 3 types including a silent type (SN: Silent Natural), a regular type (BA: Brass Appeal), and of course, the Brass Appeal Floating. Vibration-X Ultra (BA and SN) came out of this original Vibration-X series, as did Vibration-X Smatra (‘Small+Ultra=Smatra’). A top water vibration bait, the combination of floating action and brass rattles makes the BAF uniquely suited to stop and go retrieve over weed beds and other cover.
