Products marked with THP in this
section have been cosmetically redesigned to the
standards of the Technical Handling Package.
F3-63X THP The Griffon
Regular, 3/16-5/8
oz., 5-16 lbs.
This rod is a Hi-10X Graphite version
of the popular Super Griffon (The Evoluzion series). If you prefer a faster,
up-tempo dog-walk, and a higher-tensioned blank action, then look no
further. The Griffon will allow you to control your bait more precisely,
therefore demanding more attention from the angler.
F4-60X THP Flat Backer
Medium Fast, ¼-3/4
oz., 8-20 lbs.
With the better handling and
responsiveness of shorter Destroyers but with no less castability, F4-60X is
another of the higher-tensioned group of the Destroyer series. This rod for
this reason will remind you of heavyweight boxer Joe Frazier. Compactly
built, yet boy, he was a hard puncher.
F4-66X THP Cyclone
Regular, ¼-3/4 oz.,
8-20 lbs.
Among the new Destroyer lineup, F4-66X
has changed its appearance more than most others. The newly transformed
grip-end has made this rod even more versatile than before. Yet, just like
the previous model, this rod will let you see and feel the core concept of
the Destroyer rod series.
F4-68X THP Jabberwock
Regular, ¼-3/4 oz., 8-20 lbs.
Based on F5-68X, Jabberwock has been tuned for hard bait
casting with more even-tensile power at a wider load range. If you like casting
hard baits such as Cyclone, Revenge, Deep-X and Leviathan, Jabberwock is a must have.
F5-66X THP Bearing Down
Extra Fast, 3/8-1 oz., 10-25 lbs.
Light, yet not fragile. Sensitive, yet
strong enough to control bait and fish, and beautiful to behold, yet
functionally perfect too. F5-66X is one of those rods which represent the
core concept of the Destroyer series rods. F5-62X is a shorter version of
this rod.
F5-68X THP Bandersnatch
Regular, 3/8-1 oz., 10-25 lbs.
This is a high modulus graphite version
of the popular Diablo (F5 1/2-68 XTI/XFTI). As one of the most versatile
power rods, F5-68X is perfect for Texas rig, crankbaits, diving minnows, and
its application does not choose situations.
F5-69X THP Brigandage
Medium Fast, 3/8-1 oz., 10-25 lbs.
Thanks to Slant Bridge (PAT) design, Brigandage does not
seem like a 6-9 rod. With improved handling and its medium fast taper blank,
this rod can handle slower and deeper application especially well.

F6-67X THP G-Ax
Medium Fast, 3/8-1 ½ oz., 12-26 lbs.
With just the right amount of power and
a fast tip, F6-67X is for Texas rigging, slow-rolling heavy spinnerbaits and
other larger bait fishing.
F6-68X THP Rekkai
Medium Fast, 3/8-1 ½ oz., 12-26 lbs.
Rekkai is designed for pitching large size jigs and other
underhand casting situations. Our Slant Bridge design allows you to pitch all
day without annoying grip end rub against your arm, and facilitates superb double hand
casting.
F6-69X THP Super Destroyer III
Medium Fast, ¼-1 ¼ oz., 12-25 lbs.
This is the third generation Super
Destroyer, our flagship model. With redesigned rear grip, cork handle and
faux marble finish, it has transformed into one of the most distinct looking
bait rods in the series. It is powerful, yet surprisingly light and
perfectly balanced, if there is anything you could not do with other models,
you can do it with Super Destroyer.

F7-72X THP Aaron Martens Model
Medium Fast, 3/8-2 oz., 14-30 lbs. Telescopic
The Seventy-two was developed in
response to Aaron Martens’ request for the fishing environment of the United
States. Whether fishing in the weedy areas or ripping jerkbaits in the open,
this rod will make a significant difference in your performance. Because of
ease of handling due to superb balance setting and lightness, you will be
more involved, that is, more focused in fishing. And since you will be less
tired and frustrated with your execution, not only you will catch more fish,
but you will also be more content with yourself.
F7-77X THP Randy Blaukat Model
Medium
Fast, 3/8-2 oz., 14-30 lbs. Telescopic
This is the flipping stick Randy uses
for heavier jigs. So-called Triple-seven, this is not the conventional stiff
stick. Unlike those, F7-77X allows you to overhead cast or underhand cast
hard bait as well. This is critical when you are fishing along shoreline
with several different cover structures. As with F7-72X, Destroyer’s balance
setting, lightness and integrity are most critical with longer and more
powerful rods. The rods of this scale except for the Destroyers do not allow
you to snap them with your wrist because they do not have these qualities.
This explains why actions of the baits are significantly better when worked
with the Destroyers.
F7-711X Seven-Eleven
Fast, ¼-2 oz.,
10-30lbs. Telescopic
If the Triple-seven is for heavy
jigging, then the Seven-eleven is for lighter, finesse jigging. But this rod
is very versatile. It is a wonderful long-distance casting rod and is often
used for Carolina rigging also. This model has 180-degree
spiral guide system. The spiral guide is necessary for two
reasons. By forcing the line to rest on the guides it increases sensitivity.
And also it counteracts the twisting force. This is an extraordinary
rod. For 2005 This rod received cosmetic changes.
